We are 2 minutes from Memorial Park, Prospect Lake, School for the Deaf and Blind, Olympic Training Center, and Memorial Hospital. We are a five minute drive from downtown and delicious local food, events, and music (we have an awesome list of recommendations as well!) and a ten minute drive from beautiful Colorado hiking (we are outdoorsy folk and have great hiking/biking recommendations too!) Inside, enjoy the hardwood floors, unique artwork, and large kitchen. Out front, enjoy the beautiful view of Pikes Peak, lilac, young apple, plum and cherry trees with the character of a downtown neighborhood! In the private backyard, relax next to the old apple tree and fire pit! Beyond the two bedrooms with queen beds, we have two twin air mattresses to help sleep additional guests. The neighborhood is full of unique homes of all different sizes and shapes. As you walk west on the street you are welcomed by a beautiful view of Pikes Peak and beautiful old buildings belonging to the Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind. If you continue this direction you''ll hit Downtown with TONS of great local food and shops, music, night clubs, and events. We have a great listing of recommendations to help you get a feel for the local rhythm and culture. As you walk south, you will face Memorial Park and Prospect Lake. They host events, have a skate park, YMCA rec center (open to the public), velodrome, tennis with lighted courts, Sertich Ice Center- TONS of stuff! As you walk north, you''ll hit Memorial Hospital, the Olympic Training Center, and Fifty-Fifty coffee shop on Institute street with pour-over bar, paninis and patio. You will have access to the upper floor of the home, the driveway, and the front/backyard. The lower level and garage are being remodeled and are unoccupied. Getting Around: You can rent bikes, use taxis, Uber or Lyft to get downtown, or rent a car. House Rules: Please - no smoking (of any kind) inside, deposit will be forfeited if this happens. Please respect our neighbors - quiet hours are between 11pm and 7am.
