Freelance writing opportunity for NC Marketing Firm (Remote)
Innovative, rapidly growing Online Marketing firm seeks a freelance journalist or marketing writer with Search Engine Optimization sensibilities for ongoing part-time contract work. Must be able to quickly research and write compelling blog articles and Web site content for our clients.
Work is part-time, but there may be an unlimited amount of work for the right candidate. There is a need for numerous articles every week. There is a very steady flow of work and it will continue to grow.
Candidates must be able to take limited info and incomplete data and expound upon it, while:
1) Optimizing copy for SEO (keywords and key phrases will be provided)
2) Dressing up content using SEO optimized headlines, titles and subheads
3) Use natural language and keeping it grammatically and factually correct.
Candidates must be able to come up with blog article ideas and write them from scratch, and write expository and/or marketing content for client Web sites when given only a bare-bones structure.
Quick turnaround is sometimes needed. Some on-the-job SEO training will be provided.
Blog posts are expected to be about 450 words each. Web page content will need to be between 500 and 600.
