Side Charging LR-308 DPMS AR-10 Upper Receiver in Colorado Springs, Colorado For Sale

This receiver was Custom Milled by a gunsmith in Arizona that specializes in AR style milling and retrofitting. This is a custom upper receiver as it is the High top DPMS upper LR-308 upper receiver, milled and chamfered for a side charging operation. This upper allows the use of standard med. and low rings (dependent on size of scope bell) for proper eye position. I fired MAYBE 10 rounds through this receiver and it functioned flawlessly.
This is for the RECEIVER ONLY!!! I am including pictures of the complete receiver only to visually show how the system looks as complete.
The beauty of this design is that the operator does not have to break cheek weld in order to charge the weapon!!! Perfect for hunting and other applications.
This Receiver is for the Larger, AR-10/ DPMS LR-308 platform which is capable of handling calibers such as:
