The cottage is located in Old Colorado City, a historic town and a former capital of the State of Colorado, about two miles to Manitou Springs and less than a two miles to Garden of the Gods and about five minutes to downtown Colorado Springs. It is only four blocks to National Historic District of Old Colorado City with its restaurants, antique shops, art galleries and museums. There is a supermarket 3 blocks away if you need any groceries. There are two parks right by the property too. There are Academy Stables near by the property for horseback riding.
