It''s easier to handle my multiple listing sites there. You will stay on the main floor of a lovely 2 story brick Victorian just blocks west of downtown Colorado Springs. Centrally located with easy access to I-25 and walkable to downtown, minutes to Old Colorado City or Manitou Springs. A few miles farther is the road to Pikes Peak in Cascade. Up HWY 24 just 15 minutes to the mountains via Woodland Park. Monarch or Breckenridge ski areas are both just over a hundred miles or two hours, longer in winter depending on conditions. Summer and fall are beautiful seasons to take a ride through the mountains, and there is easier access from Colorado Springs than Denver. This as a 2 bedroom / 1 bath rental. The house has been updated while retaining its turn of the century charm. Enjoy a queen bed in the master bedroom and have plenty of room for your clothes in the 6 foot wardrobe and several drawers in the dresser. The 2nd bedroom is furnished with antique full size 4 poster bed and an EastLake bureau with mirror and marble accent. The living room and dining room have beautiful period and craftsman furnishings, the bathroom has a six foot Victorian claw-foot tub with a 2-headed shower and has just been re-tiled with octagonal white tile with black accents. The kitchen has been remodeled and features period appliances and "old-time" feel. Even a chef will be comfortable in the kitchen. I use cast iron and anodized aluminum chef-ware, porcelain dishes (some plastic too - for kids cereal, etc), high quality flatware, wine and beer glasses, spices, and the pantry has a full set of basics for cooking as well. You only need bring your food and any specialty spices for a meal, perishables, etc. This isn''t a sterile condo rental - your stay is in a beautifully furnished period home with everything you should need except your personals. Outside, the front porch has two comfortable chairs that look out on a xeriscaped garden. Out in the fenced back yard are a propane grill and smoker, and a Weber charcoal grill, garden chairs around a fire pit, pond and waterfall. Parking is in front, or we can make gated parking in the back available.
