Have you been denied unemployment insurance benefits? Were you terminated from employment through no fault of your own? Did you receive a Notice of Decision informing you that your claim was denied? Did your employer misrepresented the circumstances of your separation? Do you think you have grounds to receive unemployment compensation?
I have won more than 90% of all of the unemployment cases where I represented claimants. I am a retired attorney who handled more than xxxx employment law cases during his career of 30 years. I have conducted over 200 trials and arbitrations, and hundreds of lesser hearings. I have done dozens and dozens of UIC hearings and appeals, both during my career and since my retirement.
You must act quickly. Usually, you must file the appeal form attached to the Decision with the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment, Unemployment Insurance Program, within 20 days to request a hearing where you and your representative may present evidence as to why your claim for UIC benefits should be allowed. In some cases, untimely appeals are allowed with good cause. You can attend your hearing BY PHONE!

More about Unemployment Benefits Claims/UIC Appeals/UI Compensation
Filing an appeal of a decision regarding unemployment insurance allows you to participate in a hearing before a hearing officer. You have the right to be represented before and during the hearing by the representative of your choice, which can be an attorney or non-attorney. Many non-lawyers act as representatives for claimants, including former lawyers, retired attorneys, former department personnel, and past hearing officers.
Ordinarily, the notice that you intend to appeal the decision of denial must be received no later than 20 days. If you're notice of appeal is late, you or your representative may be allowed to appeal upon a showing of good cause for the late appeal.
You and your representative have the opportunity to call witnesses, submit documents or evidence, and call witnesses in order to prove your case.
