Wafer Manufacturing Technician Posted on:11/29/12 Job Number: 300###-####-2-xxxx12 Add to Cart Email to a Friend Location: Colorado Springs, CO Description: The Wafer Manufacturing Technician/Inspector will provide general and machine based assembly capability in the areas where training has been received. It is expected that an operator maintain the highest quality production standards, a pleasant professional working demeanor, exhibit a responsive manner toward authority and direction, and be able to work in a clean work environment. Responsibilities: * Read, understand a follow processing instruction for assembly processes. * Possess the dexterity necessary to perform manual and automated assembly processes. * Control and operate computerized microelectronic assembly and dicing equipment. * Handling of silicon wafers, MEMS devices and other materials with considerable care. * May be asked to perform process development under engineering direction. * Operate high precision metrology and inspection microscopes for various processes. * Understand ISO xxxx:xxxx quality requirements and verify ISO implementation in all procedures and production. * Manage job inventory per established methods and procedures. * Maintain cleanroom etiquette and equipment cleanliness while monitoring temperature/humidity as necessary. * Work in a dynamic environment with a sense of urgency with sacrificing safety or quality. * Digital camera use and manipulation. Requirements: * At least 2 years experience working in a semiconductor environment; working in furnace operations test or inspections. * The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED. * Experience handling silicon wafers and familiarity with semiconductor assembly processes. * Must be able to read and understand job specifications, schematics, shop orders, operating instructions, perform basic math calculations, identify basic functional problems, take corrective action and interface with supervisors and engineers to solve problems. * Critical microscope inspection and fine motor manual dexterity skills are required. * Experience with semiconductor back end equipment (wirebonders, including wedge and ball, dam and encapsulation, automated die attach equipment) or demonstrate a high degree of aptitude and capability to meet or exceed the learning curve (typically 60 days). * Must be able to meet overtime requests as needed. * Must demonstrate the ability to work in a cooperative and ever changing environment. * Must demonstrate a positive behavior in receiving and giving feedback (win-win) (if you have concerns you must be able to communicate to your supervisor in a positive way) Type: Contingent/Temporary Duration: 365+ Days Payrate: $12.50 - $14.00 Hourly DOE Contact: Volt Workforce Solutions xxxx Research Pkwy., Ste. 225 Colorado Springs, CO xxxx0 Phone: 719/277-xxxx Fax: 719/277-xxxx ...@volt.com
