Production Documentation Lead Job ID: KGxxxx0###-####3 Requirements: Expertise Operations Job Type Full-time Location United States - Colorado - Colorado Springs Job Level Experienced Description: Posting date: December 11, xxxx Position Summary: The Production Documentation Lead is responsible for the development and control of all production documentation used to ensure compliance in the value stream. Documents include Standard Work Instructions, Process documentation, Procedures, Work Flow Diagrams, Value Stream Maps, EC Controlled documents, drawings, specification and other documents. Responsibilities: * Assists in documenting value streams using lean tools and methodologies * Works within a team environment to establish documentation priorities and strategies * Creates, publishes and controls Standard Work Instruction documentation to production workstations using electronic and paper methods * Works with team members to develop work flow diagrams, value stream maps, spaghetti diagrams and other lean tools to optimize production processes * Uses 3D CAD software to create piece parts, assemblies and models used to develop drawings, assembly maps, and rendered models * Maintains drawings, schematics and other documents as part of controlled Engineering Change processes * Drives Engineering Change process using collaboration within a team environment * Constantly seeks continuous improvement opportunities and participates in lean learning activities and training sessions Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: * 5-7 years of experience with EC Processes, documentation control activities and ERP systems * AA or equivalent experience in technology or business field * Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word and Excel * Strong team interaction and communication skills * Demonstrated ability to lead by example and to provide guidance and mentoring to peers
