DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform work involving maintenance skills or craft occupations to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of an establishment in working conditions. Usage of different tools will be required ranging from hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices. Knowledge and ability to program PLC's and ability to read schematics. Install and configure electronic, electromechanical, and instrumentation equipment and machinery. Alignment and calibration of all automation equipment electronics. Place orders and receive supplies as needed to install, maintain, and repair electronic equipment for assigned automation projects. Perform and maintain records on preventative maintenance of equipment. Provide technical support to operators for all Weatherford automation equipment. Perform duties according to the documented Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Standard Operating Procedures and Work Place Instructions. Perform various other duties assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: Technical school or on the job technical training in advanced electronics for oil and gas production automation. Any training related to general electrical and electronics will be of value Additionally, training regarding interpersonal skills, negotiating, and sales techniques Microsoft Office Suites (Outlook, Word, Excel) Extensive domestic travel required to meet internal and external customers' needs. Valid driver's license and good driving record Ability to work flexible work schedule, including long and/or irregular hours. Available 24/7 to meet demands of customers for installation as well as support if needed Preferred: Working knowledge of CNC machines, PLC's, electronic controls, pneumatic & hydraulic products regarding installation, set-up and use.
