Requirement Details Firmware Test Engineering Technician Location: Colorado Springs, CO Duration: 7-8 months Description: Collect thermal and power consumption data. Report issues and progress on a daily basis to team lead. Recreate issues and verify fixes with firmware/hardware. Troubleshoot issues found with firmware/hardware. Required Skills: Hands on experience with Windows and Linux operating systems. Troubleshooting (hardware and software) experience with Intel-based personal computers. Ability to follow procedures. Setup test, monitor, organize and record data. Solid understanding of basic electronic theory. Manual dexterity for working with HBAs and other component parts. Soldering (tag wire and parts replacement) ESD awareness. Ability to learn new skills. Self-starter/motivated Able to work without direct supervision. Ability to adjust to dynamic/changing requirements. Organizational skills (regarding equipment and data). Communicate issues/problems, both written and verbally (in a timely manner). Education: Minimum: Associate degree in an engineering discipline.
