Key Role:
Apply communication and signal processing theory to develop and test innovative concepts in space communication and space:based navigation, including global positioning systems (GPS). Work independently and in small groups to investigate benefits, risks, and cost of promising alternative solutions related to space signals. Assist with the development of government client needs and the translation of needs into engineering requirements. Equip, manage, and operate a small laboratory focused on GPS as part of the Booz Allen Hamilton Engineering Services Advanced Research and Development Group. This position is located in Colorado Springs, CO.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
:5+ years of experience with radio frequency (RF) signals in a laboratory or field setting
:Experience with Matlab or C
:Knowledge of signal processing and communications
:Top Secret clearance
:BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
:Experience with GPS and GPS simulators in an academic or practical environment
:Experience with developing, executing, and analyzing automated tests
:Knowledge of space operations
:Knowledge of fabrication of electronic components
:TS/SCI clearance preferred
:BS degree in EE, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field; MA or MS degree a plus
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
