Job Description
The Sales Manager is responsible for selling to prospective and existing construction customers in the region with the support of an inside sales team.
Your customers would be residential homeowners. We offer a base plus commission and the opportunity to expand your career with a rapidly growing company.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Coordinate sales representatives by establishing sales territories, quotas, goals, and establish training programs
- Analyze sales statistics gathered by staff to determine sales potential and inventory requirements, as well as, monitor the preference of customers.
- Oversee storm sales consultants, sales teams, etc.
- Will be responsible for making sales as well.
- MUST be familiar with industry
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE:
- Bachelor degree
- 5 plus years of experience in sales
- Strong sales and relationship building skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Enjoy a fast-paced, deadline- and goal-driven environment
- Results and performance oriented team
- Ability to organize workload, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and establish and maintain great customer relationships
- Ability to travel extensively throughout large regional area.
- Ability to thrive in a quota driven environment.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE:
- Experience in construction and/or roofing industry, preferably in sales or marketing
- Basic understanding of roofing and siding installation
- Proficient with Outlook/Office software
- Cold calling experience
- Knowledge of sales techniques and marketing practices, including add-on sales and closing skills.
COMPENSATION:
- Base+Commission
