Returned and/or fraudulent checks will be pursued to their full and logical conclusions. I am sorry to have to add these terms but I have been very trusting in the past and it has cost me dearly.
As such, I will only accept checks for the invoiced or quoted amount, funds will be verified, if the amount differs greatly from expected amount or funds cannot be verified the instrument will be returned and our contract will be canceled at my option. I shall not be held liable for any amount remitted to me that differs from the agreed upon amount, however, gratuities and bonuses will be acknowledged and graciously accepted, if established as such. If return of the financial instrument is not possible, (bad or unverifiable name or address) it will be held or destroyed by me or my bank at our option. I will not accept any third party shipping deals. You shall accept full responsibility for insurance and shipping of your equipment to and from my premises. I am an expert technician not an importer/exporter. If you are not in my area, and you want my on site services without a prior contract, non-refundable round trip travel expenses and a per diem of $240 US per day will be due based on estimated work and travel costs, such funds will be verified prior to any travel taking place. Telephone support is billable at standard rates minus travel charges and expenses unless otherwise agreed upon.
Scams will be reported to the authorities. I have dealt with enough scams to tell a genuine client from a ruse. Interest charges will apply on aging outstanding invoices without prior arrangements.
If collections becomes necessary (I can assure you I will not begin collection if you stay in touch with me), YOU will bear all costs associated with such collection.
Use of my services in any manner constitutes your acceptance of these terms. I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. I also reserve the right to cancel active contracts for nonpayment.
